WHAT IS FSOD?

FSOD is a discipleship school in Fort Myers, FL, for high school graduates ages 17-25. FSOD is a launching pad for any area you believe God has called you to pursue. Whether that is full-time ministry, another career path, or you are not sure where you are called, FSOD will equip you with the knowledge and the tools to launch you in to whatever God has for you.. At FSOD you will strengthen your foundation though Aggressive Discipleship, Core Academics, and Ministry Training. These three values are the core of what we do.

AGGRESSIVE DISCIPLESHIP

Aggressive Discipleship helps create an atmosphere that encourages vulnerability and relational depth. Students are pointed toward creating biblical principles in every area of their lives, which molds them into confident servants of Jesus Christ. Aggressive Discipleship happens in various different ways including peer leadership, apartment life, and our small groups called "Iron Sharpens Iron". 

MINISTRY TRAINING

At FSOD, every student gets countless opportunities to serve and to be trained in multiple areas of ministry. Through our outreach programs and our involvement in many ministries at First Assembly, students will learn the ins and outs of ministry, and how to be a more effective and better servant of Jesus Christ. There are many ways to get hands-on ministry training here at FSOD. 

CORE ACADEMICS

Through Core Academics, students will build their academic knowledge in multiple areas. Students will learn the "defense of the faith" through our staff apologist, Dr. Joe Mulvihill, and biblical foundations through bachelors and masters level instructors. FSOD also offers online accredited courses with Lee University so that students will be able to receive college credit towards any vocation that they would like to go into.
